Ciao and Sacred Sunday to you:
I’m excited to share with you today the first of three articles that I’ve written on the Hindu Goddesses, Kali, Saraswati and Lakshmi.
I was asked to contribute my teaching and writing, by student and friend Satya Robin, for her community GloForward.
GloForward is a fabulous resource for women, specifically women who are facing a pivotal time in their lives, such as perimenopause and menopause. And it addresses the myriad of issues that go along with such a transitional time.
For many women, this particular stage of life feels like a never-ending cycle of loss – children going off to college, parents transitioning, divorce, retirement.
Added into the mix, loss of sleep, diminished self-esteem, lack of motivation, body image and health concerns, anxiety, self-doubt, confusion and fear of the future can be debilitating.
Yet, while you read that correctly, I did indeed mention the M word, hasn’t all humankind been living in a stressful, confusing and transitional time?
You don’t have to be a woman to be impacted by many of the same issues.
The truth is, I believe that the power and wisdom of these three Goddesses will serve every one of us. No matter how you identify. And no matter what stage of life you’re in.
Now hold on, I can hear you loud and clear, “oh I know all about the Goddesses” so let’s move on. I will tell you that the perspective in which these articles are written is new and fresh.
It’s been a hell of 2020 + and every single human on the planet right now is feeling either languish (more on that later), an urgency towards forward momentum, or the need to reinvent themselves, their life, and their relationships, personal or professional.
The great news – we are living in a time of the long overdue reclamation of the Divine Feminine.
It is vital that you and I, male and female, learn how to access the power, wisdom and truth that is our greatest resource, the Divine Feminine within.
In order for healing to begin, globally and personally, we all need to learn not only how to access the Divine Feminine, but how to embrace and engage Her.
My you enjoy the read: https://www.gloforwardwomen.com/goddess-kali
